Celebrate the best of the British motor industry and see hundreds of vehicles produced by pre-BMC companies, BMC, British Leyland and Rover Group at the British Motor Museum.
Don’t miss the special Abingdon Works Motorsport Celebration of BMC/Leyland ex-Works race and rally cars, joined by other makes, from the period of Historic and Classic Marathons. Up to 50 cars are expected including a 1964 Spa-Sofia-Liege Healey 3000, the Aaltonen/Ambrose 1962 RAC Rally Mini Cooper ‘977 ARX’, London-Sydney and World Cup Rally Landcrabs, Triumphs, MGs, Fords and Hunters and even ‘Puff the Magic Wagon’, Austin Maxi ‘MCE 7G’. Several well known personalities, associated with the cars, will be in attendance. This is organised by the Historic Marathon Rally Group and Mini Cooper Register.
